The Director is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the data and information technology operations of the City. The position supervises about 11 full-time personnel, several outsourced service contracts, and develops and maintains an IT structure that supports the needs of the City.
Reporting directly to the City Administrator, the Director supports and collaborates with the Mayor and Common Council and the City’s department directors to advance a strategic direction for the City’s use of information technology. The Director also works with an IT advisory board. The City has approximately 530 employees; the IT department maintains over 300 applications and 124 Servers. The Director oversees a $2.7 million operating budget, and a five-year IT capital equipment plan of more than $2.5 million.
The position requires extensive knowledge of information technology operations and general practices, including current developments and innovations relevant to municipal government. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and significant career success in building collaborative, effective relationships across departments. Additional experience in strategic planning, project management and complex problem solving with the ability to work effectively in a wide variety of governmental disciplines is important.
Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business management, or related field, and seven years of progressively responsible experience in information technology including two years experience in managing technical personnel. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree.

FOR SALE - 1996 Ford F350 Pickup with a custom body set up for a grass fire unit. This truck has 9944.7 original miles on odometer. It has a 7.3L diesel engine. The body is all aluminum with a 200 gallon poly tank with a 5 gal foam cell. It has a 2 ½ A6E-25RD 25 HP diesel engine portable pump with electric start wired to chassis battery. The pump rating is 20 gpm at 180 psi to 325 gpm at 95 psi. Pump has multiple 1” 1 ½” and 2 ½“ discharges. Also has 2 ½” suction inlet at pump panel. Pump was replaced 5 years ago. Truck has some compartment space also. It has a 8000 lb work receiver hitch winch with front receiver and rear wiring to allow winch to be switched from front to rear with control. It also has a 1600 watt rediline generator in compartment. Two 500 watt tela lights at front corners of body wired to generator. This entire vehicle and body are in excellent condition and very well maintained.

PUBLIC WORKS POSITION - TOWN OF BURKE
The Town of Burke, Dane County, population 3,391 residents, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Patrolman in the Public Works Department. The desired qualifications include having a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (or the ability to obtain within one month of hire), a high school diploma or GED and three years of relevant and applicable experience. The successful individual must be willing to work nights, holidays and/or weekends as required to provide public safety and service to the community.

Oneida County Land and Water Conservation is accepting applications for three AIS (Aquatic Invasive Species) Project Assistant positions.
